Broadview University, formerly Utah Career College, is a private, for-profit, college providing specialized career training for health science, business, legal science, information technology and entertainment arts. Faculty members have professional on-the-job experience in their fields of instruction as well as strong academic credentials. Health & Exercise Science (Bachelor Degree)
The Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Exercise Science will provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to gain entry-level to intermediate-level employment in the health, wellness, and fitness industry. Students will also gain the knowledge necessary to own or manage a small business in the industry, or become successfully self-employed in the industry. Through practical application, lecture, and industry experience, students will become proficient in areas such as exercise program design, individual and group fitness, nutrition, sport-specific training, injury prevention, as well as management and marketing in the health and exercise industry. Graduates will be prepared to work with a variety of clients in multiple settings such as health clubs, wellness centers, recreation departments, equipment and supplement providers, clinics, schools, and rehabilitation centers.
Information Technology (Associate Degree)
The Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology will provide students with the computer skills and knowledge needed to gain entry-level positions as desktop support specialists, network support technicians, operating systems specialists, application support specialists, help desk technicians, or PC technicians.
